After years abroad, our founders returned to Romania to establish an agency grounded in international standards and tailored to the local market. Meet The Founders
Cristina Gottschlich
Our founder, Cristina Gottschlich, brings over a decade of global expertise in high-end hospitality and event management. Her career spans six countries and includes leading roles at world-renowned brands like Mandarin Oriental and Kempinski. From hosting royalty and celebrities in Prague to launching flagship properties in the Middle East, Cristina has curated moments for the world’s most discerning guests.
Educated at Les Roches Marbella and certified in tourism and aviation, she blends deep industry knowledge with an instinct for elegance. Cristina speaks five languages and understands the unspoken details that elevate an event from impressive to unforgettable.
Jens Gottschlich
Some people see spreadsheets. Jens sees stories. For over two decades, he’s been turning data into experiences—shaping moments where technology fades into the background and guests feel genuinely cared for. Born and raised in northern Germany, Jens studied Business Informatics with a clear goal: to understand how systems work, so he could make them work better for people. That mindset has taken him from VIP hosting in Europe to royal delegations in the Gulf, from major automotive launches to cloud-based platforms connecting thousands of attendees across continents.
He brings that experience to EMERALD LUXE EVENTS as Senior Consultant, blending precision with creativity. Jens is fluent in German, English, and deeply fluent in what he calls “strategic empathy”, the ability to understand not just what a client or guest needs, but how they want to feel. He believes the best events are both engineered and felt.
